Program:

The associate program is designed to develop the technical, professional, and personal skills of motivated attorneys who expect to build their practice as members of the firm for long term. It allows the associate to move quickly into the substantive practice of law in all firm practice areas. Our mentoring process encourages and challenges the associate to grow in her or his areas of practice. Client contact is promoted while working closely with each share­holder.

Summer Associate Program:

Program:

The summer associate program is designed to identify potential associates who will practice with the firm for the long term. Summer associates are assigned work in all practice areas primarily consisting of research and writing. In addition, summer associates accompany shareholders and associates on assignments out of the office to gain a knowledge of the geographical practice area and court systems. Our summer program includes several social events allowing candidates to experience the firm's milieu out of the office.
 

Structure:

Summer associate positions are for split summers requiring six consecutive weeks. Positions may change at the firm's discretion.

Housing:

Housing is not provided by the firm. Assistance locating a residence will be given as requested. There are ample available housing opportunities in Chattanooga.
