Labor and Employment Law
The labor and employment law practice section assists clients in integrating an increasingly diversified work force into their long-range business goals. Our attorneys are committed to counseling with and providing representation to our clients regarding their most valuable assets - their human resources. The labor and employment group represents the interest of employers in contract negotiations with unions, arbitrations of labor disputes, NLRB charges, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Act issues, Fair Labor Standards Act (especially Wage and Hour compliance matters, employment discrimination charges before local, state and federal agencies, litigation involving the employment relationship in state and federal courts, including development of and compliance with non-competition agreements, union organizational campaigns, workers’ compensation and ERISA litigation.
